Beware of Mr. Dog

"I'm not with you. I'm just going the same way."

The story

Bo falls again, this time straight through the roof of a shack in the junkyard at the foot of the tower. Inside he meets Mr. Dog: a faded red rescue robot on stubby brass legs, with a horn speaker for a voice and a blue beacon that spins while he thinks.

Mr. Dog is sure he is a dog. Everyone agrees with him except Bo, and they will argue about it for the whole game. Bo needs to get back up. Mr. Dog, it turns out, is heading the same way. Just never call him "dog". He is Mister. Mister Dog.

Under the grumbling and the swearing there is a story of his own, and it is not a funny one. You will hear it in the game.

How it plays

Talk to him with your voice. Hold the button and ask, coax, bargain or swear: Mr. Dog decides for himself whether to help. His first answer is always a rude no.

He can do what Bo can't. Squeeze where a person won't fit, talk to machines, record a voice and play it back, switch on a siren and a searchlight. He has no hands, but he has an attitude.

A classic adventure. Junk, levers, boiler rooms and lifts, puzzles with a twist. Fall out with your partner and you will have to manage on your own.
